I’ve been home for a few days now! I’ve been incredibly busy! Anyway I’ll get down to the real business which is this post! So without further a do let me tell you all about my geocaching adventures at home (Guernsey)
I was quite surprised that Geocaching in Guernsey was pretty similar to caching in the UK! We have your ‘bog standard’ box ones and the slightly more imaginative ones (such as things hidden in Shells… us cheeky Sarnian’s!
We started off our caching adventures in the parish of St Sampson’s! Our first cache was only a short walk away and we saw some beautiful scenery along the way!
We got closer and closer till we were on ground zero then the serious work began! It was hard to tell whether the cache was located in the rocks or on the headland! We all stumbled around on the rocks for a little while…
We were definitely not going to give up. We were going to find that cache! Little did I know that something in this photo was actually holding our cache!
There you are you cheeky little innocent looking shell!
Sure enough this innocent little shell was hiding this sneaky but genius cache! We couldn’t believe that we had missed it!
Time to head back to the car and look for other nearby caches! We located one at a near by beach and off we went! This particular cache was hidden in the entrance of a german bunker (there was sadly too many muggles to risk it)
It was a pretty walk never the less! So we hopped back in the car to drive to our next location! This cache was hidden in a fort! It was pretty cool exploring the fort!
I found the cache in a matter of seconds! We signed our name and headed back to the car! It was only a short adventure but it was good to get out in the fresh air! I had such crazy hair by the end of our Geocaching session! I hope you enjoyed this fairly short geocaching post! Until next time

You’re very welcome :].
No word of a lie, but you have actually inspired me to visit places this next year, with my boyfriend. We never get time usually (what with our hectic course timetables) but I am going to make sure we MAKE time…

I had such a fabulous time, if you get the opportunity definitely go with it! I hope to hear about your adventures!!! π

Next time you’ll pick up a snail expecting it to be a cache and it will be just a snail. π We are forever apologising to snails!
Looks like you found some caches in some fabulous places? π
