What I got for Christmas 2015!

I am back, temporarily till I have managed to conquer my mountain of law assignments and commitments…

I know this is most probably a bit of a marmite post but I really enjoy reading them and looking at the pictures so I’m hopping on the pressie bandwagon πŸ˜‰

I thought I’d start with the book based items and explain their significance! I shall start with the rather exciting Frozen themed colouring book which was a gift from my parents! So basically colouring is one of my guilty pleasures and it’s really therapeutic and helps with stressful deadlines and general every day life! Also it’s FROZEN… whats not to love! Next up a rather similar little gift but it is also incredibly practical! What could be better than a diary which involves weekly colouring in YAHOOO what a brilliant invention and it’s an absolute bargain! My life evolves around dates and times and places to be and people to see so this is EXTREMELY useful (queue Will writing hidden little notes in this one ;)…) As some of you may have spotted that there is a cheeky little driving related book featuring in that stash… Let’s just say I NEED to learn to drive and need aΒ gentleΒ push into the right direction or a WRS to inspire me/force me… So yes you guessed it this little lady is going to be getting back behind the wheel back in the rolling hills of South Yorkshire! Now let me explain that Will’s main present is driving lessons (which is hugely appreciated, hugely anxiety inducing but NEEDED)… I’m sure you’ll all hear about my roading adventures at some point in the near future! Finally but most definitely not least are a set of cute exercise books from Paperchase which were a gift from my cousin, husband and daughter!

Next on the pressie agenda is the cosmetic/makeup/perfume items! I was very spoilt by my family and my wonderful auntie got me the Marc Jacobs blue daisy fragrance which smells DREAMY there I said it (it won’t be the last time either…) She also got me the feline lashes mascara along with super thin eye liner (which is floating around in one of my various handbags… My cousin bought me the electric yellow nail varnish, Bourjois eye shadow quad, three nude based lipsticks, two pots of tasty mango mojito lipbalm and the Ted Baker lip balm was part of a TB set from a family friend!
Will bought me this delightful smelling Yankee Candle in the scent Midnight Jasmine which will be wonderful in my room back in Sheffield, the festive snowman post which contains festive socks was a gift from my cousin along with a beautiful tea towel with a design of guernsey printed onto it (apparently it’s popular to frame them instead…) and last but not least were some pretty blue and white floral set of six candles from Wills parent in floral scent! I’m highly looking forward to my studio next year!
I was of course given a ‘few’ edible pressies because chocolate, head rubs and massages are the way to this girls heart! I love kinder chocolate (which is probably obvious from my care packages and Cadburys is ALWAYS a winner and minion shaped haribos? I’m all over that! (This was from my parents!)
I’m a huge tights and skirt girl (as you will be able to see very shortly…) So I asked for several lovely warm and wooly tights from Whitestuff this Christmas! The fair Isle pattern ones were from my Auntie, the purple cable knit from my Gran, the grey cable knit from Mumma & Puppa and the blue pair was also from my Auntie! I have already worn all of them… oops!
Now it’s time for adorable winter wear! I was given these gorgeous feminine and dainty gloves by my cousin (which can be used on smart phones) and can we all appreciate that darling little bow and adorable different coloured fingers! Then from my parents I got two pom pom hats in the colour pink and black! Both are gorgeous and will probably make me look about 10…
SKIRT DREAMYNESS! I love skirts (as you now all know) and I’m a quirky kind of girl which means I like quirky things! Most of these skirts are from Whitestuff and I won’t lie to you but they are investment pieces but are beautiful and are made so well! One has a grey, nude pink and cream pattern, one is lime green, one is woodland patterned and the other is a vibrant pattern! These were bought for me by my wonderful parents!
My parents also bought me two jumpers that matched my skirt and I actually wore one of the outfits on Christmas day! Both jumpers are again from Whitestuff and are really cute and totally me! One has multicoloured pompoms and the other is black and grey with an unusual pattern!
I have so many coats (but a girl can never have enough right!?) Well my darling gran bought this glorious oversized coat in a tartan pattern and it is just glorious and has already been worn numerous times! It was from the limited edition range at M&S!
This is kind of the random bits and bobs section because it didn’t fall into a definite category! Let’s start with the Lionel Richtea mug πŸ˜‰ isn’t my boyfriend absolutely hilarious! Only he would think of such a thing and I am quite partial to a cup of tea… So yes that was a gift from Mops! I have some sheep pj’s which were bought by my Auntie and a spotty day bag from my Auntie and Uncle!
Will’s parents also bought be this lovely No 7 set which was incredibly sweet of them!

Will also bought me this really cool Philips LivingColors LED mood light which will look adorable in my room and I cannot wait to use it in my studio next year! It’s really bright and you can choose from an array of colours and really brightens up the darkest of rooms (believe me my room at uni is DARK so this is fantastic)

So here is an overlook at my haul of pressies! I am one lucky girly!

I really hope you enjoyed checking out what I got for Christmas and I hope you all had a magical Christmas!

Until next time love & hugs

C xxx

For some strange reason I never saw these comments! Thank you, I must admit it is one of my favourite jumpers!
