Domme is described as a beautiful Dordogne town which is nestled high above the river! It is known as a Bastide as it was a fortified town (we found a lot of Bastides on our travels!)
We merely went for a drive and a little wander and as expected Will decided to snap the moment! It’s a rather small but quaint town with the typical cute architecture and little shops selling fresh produce! I just love their way of life, it’s incredibly laid back and calm (which is a long way off to city living!)
Domme is apparently one of the most beautiful villages in France! It was overcast when we visited but it was still incredibly quaint and picturesque with all the narrow streets and brightly painted shutters and doors which are adorned with beautiful flowers!
